FOUNDER & CEO
Chris Mollen is a carpenter, welder, lighting technician and rigger with a BA in Drama and a minor in Studio Art from Randolph-Macon College. He has built scenery for Broadway’s Hamilton as well as many other theatrical productions. After returning home to Richmond he worked as a project manager for special events, specializing in building and repairing scenery, props and furniture. When Chris and Kasi worked together at Philadelphia Zoo’s Luminature this created the perfect opportunity for these two artists to unite under one creative vision and form Firefly Scenic Studio.
FOUNDER & CEO
Kasi Strauchler is a designer, artist, and lighting technician with a BA in Design and a minor in Art from Radford University. She has worked in various theme parks supervising and creating such spectacles as Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town at Busch Gardens Williamsburg as well as Luminature at the Philadelphia Zoo serving as a lighting technician, artistic specialist, project supervisor, and operations manager. Before her theme park experience, she worked as a muralist, visual display designer, and interior designer. Kasi is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you to creatively explore new opportunities and create new artistic visions together.

LIGHTING & TECHNICAL SPECIALIST
Megan Hamilton is a theatre and entertainment technician, fabricator, and artist with a background in scenic and prop fabrication, lighting design, technical direction, and project management. After receiving her BA in Theatre from William & Mary, she spent many years as Associate Technical Director for the university’s Department of Theatre & Dance and the Virginia Shakespeare Festival. Seeking a new challenge, she transitioned into themed entertainment, working on installations for sites including Stone Mountain Park, Thanksgiving Point, Disney Cruise Line, and Busch Gardens Williamsburg. It was there that she crossed paths with Kasi and Chris, which led to her joining Firefly Scenic Studio in its creative work.
